Hello friends (: thanks for stopping by again, or for the first time! It means much to me that you did. I promise you’ll be glad, too! The couple I get to share with you today is fabulous. I mean, they flew in from the heart of D.C., so they begin with at least 100 cool points.

About 15 minutes before the first photo you’ll see below was taken, I hadn’t even seen Ed&Jacqui before. We met, hugged, had like 2 sips of delicious Madcap coffee, and started on our little engagement session adventure! What troopers these two are! You’d never guess we hadn’t even met yet – let alone that neither of them have had pictures taken professionally of them. Hottie McTotties.

We had a blast wandering around chilly downtown GR, finding places to stay warm along the way. (: Absolutely cannot wait for their Holland, MI August wedding! I’m ready to photograph more of this good-lookin’ness!

Well hello again! Two blog posts, two days… feelin’ on a roll (:

If you tuned in yesterday (yes, I did just say tuned in… better adjust your antennas accordingly!), you got to meet the lovely James&Tara! And I mentioned there that another hot duo would be coming your way soon… so…

Meet Jon&Brit!

These two. Oh man. Before we shook hands a few minutes before starting this engagement session together, I had never met either of them. And you would have never guessed it. It’s like they’d been in front of my camera forever. I love it when a couple can smooch and cuddle even when I’m mere inches from their faces. Dreaminess. I mean, look at these two. They practically wrote the book on dreaminess.

A few fun facts about them which I find particularly fantastic:

*Their BFF moms set them up on their first date! They were chatting about all sorts of things and ended up showing each other a picture of their children. And, naturally, HAD to set them up! Holy good looks, Batman!

*Jon&Brit have the same last name. Which isn’t too much of a shocker, as it’s Smith. (: I am SO jealous of how little Brit will have to deal with the government after her big day! Hah

*Brit picked up golf… just for Jon. Whadda woman.

And last but not least:
*Jon proposed to Brit in a helicopter. Yes, a HELICOPTER. Which she then exited and was greeted by a whole party to celebrate, comprised of dear family and friends. Whadda man.

Our romantically gray engagement session took place at the lovely Edgewood Country Club and the incredibly beautiful Kirk in the Hills church. I’m not sure I’ve ever taken so many photos in such a short period of time (:

Their beautiful east side of Michigan wedding will take place in November of this year, and I cannot WAIT. Especially because Brittany and I are two peas in a pod… and I wish we weren’t 3 hours apart.
